PSO: Conflict between MD and govt denied
Statement also says that there has been no question of removal or dismissal of PSO MD Naeem Yahya Mir from any quarter

Pakistan State Oil, through a press release issued on Monday has denied that there exists any conflict between the company MD and the government of Pakistan. The statement also says that there has been no question of removal or dismissal of PSO MD Naeem Yahya Mir from any quarter. With reference to foreign visits, the statement says that all travel was made in his official capacity. This included attendance of APL board meetings in which he holds the post of Director and a trip to Kuwait for the signing of HSD and Fuel Oil supply contracts. Additionally during his tours he also promoted the Pakistani energy market and sought investments of over $350 Million for petroleum infrastructure development projects. These trips were conducted as per company procedures and were approved by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, said the statement.
