Infrastructure: Jhang to have four new roads this year
Rs12.414 million would be spent on the construction of a road from Station Chowk to Saddar police station.

The four road construction projects in Jhang are expected to complete this year with an estimated cost of Rs22.5 million, District Officer Muhammad Akmal Baloch said on Monday. The district officer was presiding over a meeting to discuss the expenses on the road construction projects in the area. He said Rs12.414 million would be spent on the construction of a road from Station Chowk to Saddar police station. An additional Rs4.039 million has been earmarked for a road from Kacha Kot Road near Ayub Chowk to Jameel Shaheed Park. He said Rs1.184 million would be spent on a road from Chungi 23 Government Girls Middle School to Chah Wala whereas Rs4.863 million has been allocated for the construction of a road from Rasheed Chowk to Cycle Mor on Millat Colony Road. Tenders for these projects have been invited for May 18, whereas the bids would be opened on May 21, he added.
