ABBOTABAD:
The students and faculty of Government Postgraduate College Abbottabad were gripped in fear after a group of students opened fire in the air on the varsity’s premises on Monday. The incident followed a cricket match between the physics and maths departments, with victorious physics students opening celebratory fire. No casualties or injuries were reported, but the widespread fear and panic among hundreds of innocent people on campus led to appeals to the police to begin a search and seizure operation to de-weaponise the campus and let academic activities proceed in an arms-free and peaceful environment.
