Football: Army to face Muslim FC in U22 final

Pakistan Army and Muslim FC set up a final showdown at the National U22 Football Championship, as Army defeated Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) 2-1 while Muslim FC thrashed Sindh 1-0 in Bahawalpur. K-P scored the first goal in the ninth minute. However, Army’s Nisar Ahmed equalised in the 66th minute and Rehan Ali sealed victory in the fourth minute of extra time to book a place in the final. Meanwhile, Muslim FC took the lead in the eighth minute through Shabbir Ahmed’s goal and advanced.
