Militants blow up boys school in Charsadda
The number of schools blown in Charsadda has reached 16 in two years.

A government-run primary school for boys was blown up in the Shabqadar district of Charsadda, late Thursday night, taking the number of schools blown up in Charsadda to 16 in two years, a source in the education department said.
Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station Sro Kali, Gul Shed told The Express Tribune that the school, located in the Khat Korona area of Nowrani, Shabqadar was blown up by unidentified assailants during the night at around 2am.
A room, the veranda and the boundary wall of the school were destroyed in the explosion, which was heard as far as 5km from the blast site.
The area borders Mohmand Agency’s Ekka Ghund Tehsil where a military offensive was carried out in November, 2008.
