Football: K-P, Muslim FC enter last-four

Abdul Hameed’s goal in extra-time allowed Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) to edge out PMC 2-1 and book a place in the semi-finals of the National U22 Football Championship in Bahawalpur. Mohammad Tariq hit the opener in the 11th minute which was levelled by Mohammad Waqas. Hameed then scored the decisive goal in the second-half of extra-time much to the delight of the K-P team. In another quarter-final, Muslim FC outclassed KPT 2-0 with Saeed Ahmed and Zabhiullah getting their names included in the scoresheet.
