Fatal falls: Two die in separate accidents

The boy was dead by the time passersby reached the scene and rescued him.

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A seven year old child drowned in a canal and died in Rahim Yar Khan on Monday. Zahid, a resident of Bahadur Chowk, and his friends were playing near the canal when he slipped and fell into the canal. The boy was dead by the time passersby reached the scene and rescued him. The body was shifted to Shaikh Zayed Hospital. In another incident, a nine-year-old boy died in a fall from a tree in Jamaldin Wali area. He was trying to pull a mango from a branch he lost balance and fell on the ground.
