Butt crashed out of the Layer 3 Telecom & Hazlow Electronics Rochester Pro-Am event in the US.

Top-seed Yasir Butt crashed out of the Layer 3 Telecom & Hazlow Electronics Rochester Pro-Am event in the US, losing to the unseeded South African Clinton Leeuw in the first round. Butt was struggling against Leeuw, who recorded a 11-7, 11-7, 8-11, 11-6 win in 53 minutes. After the first-round upset, Leeuw reached the final where he was beaten by fourth-seed Egypt’s Ali Farag 9-11, 11-8, 11-2, 11-8 win in 50 minutes.
