Thwarted: Police recover stolen railway tracks
Police arrested two men, who admitted that the stolen tracks were being transported to steel factories in Gujranwala.

The National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) on Saturday thwarted an attempt to transport stolen railway tracks from Rawalpindi to Gujranwala and recovered a truckload of tracks besides arresting two persons.
Acting on a tip-off, the police established a checkpost on Motorway near Gujar Khan and intercepted a suspected truck.
Upon inspection, the police found a huge quantity of railway tracks which had been stolen from Rawalpindi.
The police also arrested two men, who admitted that the stolen tracks were being transported to steel factories in Gujranwala.
