Grenade Blast: Four die in wedding home attack

A suspect believed to be involved in the attack was arrested from the same locality.

SHABQADAR: Four people, including three girls, were killed and 13 others injured when unidentified men hurled a hand grenade into a house where a marriage ceremony was taking place in Charsadda district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The police told The Express Tribune that four girls and a man were killed during the ceremony in the house of (late) Faqir Muhammad in the Laato Korno locality.  “According to our initial investigation, the incident seems to be one of personal enmity between two families,” said SHO Khanzaib. A suspect believed to be involved in the attack was arrested from the same locality, he said.
