Three die as car falls off Karakoram Highway
Locals, police and rescue teams immediately reached the scene and started rescue operations

Three people died and two were seriously injured in an accident in the Tris Banda area of Lower Kohistan, where a vehicle going from Rawalpindi to Gilgit fell off the Karakoram highway and fell onto the banks of the Indus River on Friday.
Three people were killed and two were injured in the accident.
The deceased include Ashfaq Ahmed, son of Farhan Wali and resident of Gilgit, Abdul Haseeb, son of Abdul Jabbar and resident of Chilas, and Umer, son of Noor Muhammad and resident of Chilas. According to local sources, the accident occurred on a mountain road, after which local people, police and rescue teams immediately reached the scene and started rescue operations. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
