Promoting Reading: GSIS student wins bibliophile award

He was given the award by Information Minister Qamaruz Zaman Kaira.

Muhammad Manzoor Ellahi of Global System of Integrated Studies (GSIS) won the Bibliophile Award 2011 by the National Book Foundation in the National Book Day Celebrations, said a press release on Saturday. Manzoor, originally from to Chitral, impressed the jury with his critical analysis of the books he had read in one year. His selection of books has been very impressive. He was given the award by Information Minister Qamaruz Zaman Kaira. On this occasion, NBF Managing Director Mazharul Islam appreciated Manzoor’s calibre and interest in reading.
