Football: CL final live at Munich’s stadium
Bayern have received more than a million requests from fans for tickets at their Allianz Arena stadium.
BERLIN:
Munich’s Olympic Stadium will host the first official public viewing of a Champions League final when Bayern Munich take on Chelsea at the Allianz Arena on May 19, according to Uefa. Bayern have received more than a million requests from fans for tickets at their Allianz Arena stadium with just 17,000 allocated to the club of the stadium’s 66,000 capacity and any unlucky fans now have an alternative. As part of Uefa’s four-day Festival at Munich’s Olympic Park, tickets priced €5 each are available at the 65,000-seater Olympic Stadium, Bayern’s home ground before they moved to the Allianz Arena in 2005. This is the first time there will be an official public viewing for a Champions League final.
