SEOUL:
Angel Jimenez rued his luck on the greens yesterday as he shot a three-under 69 at the Ballantine’s Championship which left him tied fifth at seven-under-par. The 48-year-old Spaniard, who has not missed a cut this year, is languishing seven shots adrift of leader Bernd Wiesberger who stormed away from the field with a second successive 65.”I played very well today and played very solid tee to green,” said Jimenez. “Made a few birdies no bogeys. I had 32 putts in a three-under bogey-free round. So I had many, many chances for birdie. Three, four, five metres all the time. But you need to hole those. I hit it very good from the tees but you need to hole putts.”
