Third arm of baby successfully removed
Baby girl was born in Taunsa Sharif on Monday with an extra arm joined to her back.

The third arm of a baby girl, born in Taunsa Sharif sub-division of Dera Ghazi Khan, was successfully removed after an operation at Nishter Hospital on Saturday.
Waqar Ahmed’s daughter was born with three arms – the third one joined to her back, near her spinal cord. The baby was shifted to the hospital two days ago.
Dr Haroon Khurshid Pasha and Assistant Professor Dr Kashif Chishti of Nishter Hospital conducted several tests for two days, and successfully removed the extra limb of the child during an hour long operation.
Dr Pasha said that the child’s condition is satisfactory now.
