PPP nominates Jahangir Badar for Leader of the House in Senate
Badar is the general secretary of PPP and has served as a former Federal Minister and an MNA from NA 120 in the past.

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has nominated Senator Jahangir Badar as the Leader of the House in Senate, spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said on Friday.
Jahangir Badar is the Secretary General of the PPP and has served as a former Federal Minister and an MNA from NA-120 in the past.
In 2010, Badar had been acquitted by the NAB court in cases of misuse of authority and illegal appointments. The court rejected the references against him, while a case of hiding his property value to avoid tax is still under inquiry.
