Cycling: Women’s championship to start on May 1
10th Women Cycling Championship will be held in Lahore from May 1

The 10th Women Cycling Championship will be held in Lahore from May 1, announced the former secretary of the cycling federation Idrees Haider Khawaja. While Khawaja remained adamant that the event will go ahead, there are fears that provincial teams will not participate. According to the organisers, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Army, Wapda, Railways, SSGC and one foreign team will take part in the event. However, it has been learnt that Army, Wapda and Railways will not be a part of the event because of the unofficial status of the competition.
