Pakistan to face Egypt in the final

Defending champions Pakistan defeated England 2-1 to cruise into their fourth consecutive team event final of the Men’s World Junior Squash Championship 2010 being held in Quito, Ecuador. The semi-final tie between second-seed Pakistan and the third seed started out with an intense 72-minute match in which England’s top player Charles Sharpes beat Danish Atlas Khan 9-11, 11-5, 4-11, 11-5, 13-11.
Pakistan then came back in the next tie through Farhan Zaman as he defeated James Earles 7-11, 11-9, 9-11, 4-11 in 36 minutes. Nasir Iqbal then toppled Nathan Lake 8-11, 5-11, 13-11, 7-11 in the 55-minute decider, putting the four-time world champions in their eighth team event final since 1980 and a final clash against Egypt.
