Cycling: Punjab University clinch title

Punjab University clean swept the eight available gold medals and won the inaugural HEC Women Cycling Championship.

KARACHI:
Punjab University clean swept the eight available gold medals and won the inaugural HEC Women Cycling Championship in Lahore with 195 points. Lahore College Women University finished runners-up with 165 points, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar sealed third place with 82 points while Superior University ended fourth with 37 points. On the last day, Punjab’s Razia claimed gold in the elimination race while Mariya of Lahore picked up the silver and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University’s Ayesha took bronze. Punjab University’s Sidra was declared the best cyclist of the event.
