A girl, born with three arms in the Taunsa Sharif sub-division of Dera Ghazi Khan, was shifted to Nishter Hospital in Multan on Wednesday. The girl had been born on Monday.

The father, Waqar Ahmed, had brought his daughter to Nishter Hospital, where she was admitted to ward 19 immediately and treatment was underway.
Dr Ghulam Shabbir at the hospital said that the disorder that the baby girl had is called Polymelia, in which a person is born with extra limbs.
He further revealed that experts have been consulted regarding the issue and that once initial reports are obtained, it can be ascertained as to how difficult the operation can be.
