Raid: SSGC removes illegal connections
500 households were using gas through illegal connections.
KARACHI:
A special task force of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Tuesday conducted a raid in Shah Abdul Lateef Town where 500 households were using gas through illegal connections.
According to a press release, the task force disconnected these pipes with the assistance of area police and SSGC’s security services department. Later talking to the media, SSGC General Manager Customer Relations Amir Mumtaz Khan said some contractors were working in connivance with the residents of the area in providing them with illegal gas connections.
