Ephedrine case: Pre-arrest bail for chief executives of 2 pharma companies rejected
Rawalpindi bench of LHC dismisses petition of two companies that ANF has no jurisdiction to investigate the case.

The Rawalpindi bench of the Lahore High Court rejected pre-arrest bails for chief executives of the two wholesaler pharmaceutical companies who were arrested right after the hearing on Tuesday.
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested Chief Executive of Danas Pharma Islamabad Ansar Farooq Chaudhry and Chief Executive of Berlex International Iftikhar Ahmed Khan Baber.
The division bench comprising Justice Saghir Ahmed Qadri and Justice Rauf Ahmed Sheikh also dismissed the petition of the two companies that the ANF has no jurisdiction to investigate the case.
Chaudhry and Baber were booked because they did not record statements according to the wishes of ANF investigators.
