Sent packing: Naeem Borkha is the new West DIG
Imran Yaqoob Minhas was replaced.
KARACHI:
The deputy inspector general (DIG) of Karachi’s West Zone, Imran Yaqoob Minhas, was replaced with DIG Naeem Akram Borkha on Monday, according to an order issued by the Sindh government.
Minhas had been posted to Zone West for the last 10 months. There were rumours that he was transferred because of violence in his jurisdiction. But DIG Minhas downplayed his transfer and said that it was a matter of routine.
