Means of communication: ‘Urdu must be made official language’
Petitioner said that Urdu would be made the official language but that had not been done.
LAHORE:
Chief justice of the Lahore High Court on Monday sought a reply from federal government and the assistance of the attorney general on a petition which seeks to make Urdu the official language. Petitioner Advocate Rana Ilmuddin Ghazi said Quaid-i-Azam had said that Urdu would be made the official language but that had not been done. The CJ heard arguments from the petitioner and adjourned the hearing.
