Restive frontier: Militants butcher cleric in Khyber
Political administration official asserts unidentified militants killed Maulana Naimatullah Afghani.

A religious cleric’s beheaded body was found in the market area of Sarband in Khyber Agency. While talking to The Express Tribune, an official of the political administration asserted that unidentified militants killed Maulana Naimatullah Afghani on Saturday night. They later disposed of his body in the Niazi market area of Sarband. According to local sources, Lashkar-e-Islam militants might be involved in the brutal murder. Lately, areas bordering the tribal belt have seen a rise in kidnappings for ransom.
