FAISALABAD:
The district administration has decided to shift the timber market to a less central location, a City District Government (CDG) spokesman announced on Saturday. He said that a 36-acre site had been designated between Jhang Road Bypass and Samundri Road Bypass. He said the businesses will begin shifting plants and inventories next month. He said that the construction of shops and boundary walls around the designated sites had begun. He said shifting the market will reduce traffic jams and cut environmental pollution.
