Tennis: Djokovic moves into Monte Carlo final
Overcoming a stiff challenge from Tomas Berdych 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.

Novak Djokovic battled into his second career final at the Monte Carlo Masters yesterday, overcoming a stiff challenge from Tomas Berdych 4-6, 6-3, 6-2. “It was quite a match,” said Djokovic. “Berdych tosses the ball very high on the serve which didn’t help and I didn’t serve so well either.” Djokovic will face Nadal in the final after the Spaniard beat France’s Gilles Simin 6-4, 6-4 in the other semi-final.
