Correction: Mapping Pakistan

Regarding our story, Mapping Pakistan: LUMS and Google launch Tech for People Initiative published on April 19, 2012, Google has clarified that it only provided the seed funding for the project, but that the project belongs to LUMS. Also, while an MoU has been signed with the Punjab government it is not yet clear what products will be launched as a result. Further, while Google Maps were helpful to the Army and disaster management efforts during the floods, Google did not work with the Army. The error is regretted — The Editor.
