Capital crime: 3 get death, one life term in three cases
ASJ Khokhar gave death sentence on two counts to two brothers found guilty in a robbery and murder case.

Three people have been sentenced to death and a man imprisoned for life in three murder cases in Faisalabad. Additional Session Judge Jaranwala Riaz Ahmad Khokhar has sentenced Saima Bibi, a resident of Chak 229-RB Makkoana, to death for killing her husband Muhammad Arshad, a resident of Chak No123-GB, in 2010.
The judge announced the verdict on Thursday after recording statements of witnesses. ASJ Khokhar gave death sentence on two counts to two brothers found guilty in a robbery and murder case. Manzoor Ahmad and Noor Ahmad, residents of Chak 104-RB, and an accomplice Nazeer Ahmad, a resident of Chak 102-GB, were arrested by Khurarianwala police for killing a citizen during robbery.
Manzoor Ahmad and Noor Ahmad were given death sentence and their accomplice five years in prison. Both brothers were asked to pay Rs100,000 fine and the third convict Rs5,000 fine.
In an two-year old murder case of Nishatabad police station, Adbul Rauf, a resident of Chanchal Singhwala, has been has sent to prisons for life by ASJ Muhammad Afzal Faheem.
The convict has also been directed to pay Rs200,000 in compensation to heirs of the deceased. Failure to pay the compensation will result in additional imprisonment for six months.
