Triple murder: Two of four suspects arrested
FIR stated that Zafar had borne Ramazan a grudge over the latter’s elopement and marriage with his sister.

Two of the four people accused in a triple murder case were arrested by Nawan Lahore police on Tuesday. Zafar alias Zafri, Maqbool, Arfan and Anwar are accused killing Muhammad Ramzan, a resident of Chak 338-JB, and his two brothers Muhammad Ahmad and Muhammad Imran on Monday night. SHO Yar Muhammad said Zafar and Maqbool had been arrested while raids were underway to track down Arfan and Anwar. The FIR stated that Zafar had borne Ramazan a grudge over the latter’s elopement and marriage with his sister. It said Ramazan’s family had earlier annulled his engagement with the girl. On Monday night, the suspects allegedly intercepted Ramazan and his two brothers and shot them following an argument. The injured were taken to Nawan Lahore rural health centre where Ramzan and Ahmad died. Imran was referred to Allied Hospital but he also died on his way to the hospital.
