Table tennis: Punjab clinches U14 event
Thrashed Fata 3-1, Azad Kashmir 3-0 and Islamabad 3-0.

Punjab clinched the Pakistan Sports Board Inter Provincial Youth Under-14 Boys Table Tennis Championship in Lahore yesterday as they thrashed Fata 3-1, Azad Kashmir 3-0 and Islamabad 3-0. Punjab remained unbeaten in the tournament after defeating Sindh 2-1 and Balochistan 3-0 on the opening day. Sindh finished second after defeating Islamabad 2-1, Balochistan 3-0 and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 3-0. Meanwhile, Islamabad secured third place in the championship. Faizan Zahoor was declared the player of the championship for his outstanding performance in eight matches. The championship featured six teams including four provinces along with Fata and Islamabad.
