Police arrests target killer in Karachi
Korangi police on Friday apprehended a target killer, Irfan Ali alias Iffi, alleged to have killed three on Wednesday.
Korangi police on Friday apprehended a target killer, Irfan Ali alias Iffi, alleged to have killed three and injured another three, on Wednesday, at Zia Colony, Karachi.
Police sources said the wanted culprit, along with his seven associates, had opened fire on people in Zia Colony, Korangi on Wednesday evening killing Abdul Aziz, Mohammad Ayub and Amjad while three others were severely injured.
Korangi Police had registered an FIR on complaint of Abdul Rauf, brother of deceased Ayub, against six identified and two un-identified killers.
SHO Inspector Shakir Ali and his team arrested Irfan Ali after receiving a tip. A pistol was also recovered from the alleged target killer.
Kornagi Police have also arrested five other culprits and retrieved six pistols and six magazines besides bullets from them.
Moreover, culprits belonging to different gangs involved in incidents related to robbery and street crimes were also apprehended within the jurisdiction of Korangi Police. These included Mohammad Salim, Ghulam Hussain, Jones Manzoor, Mohammad Usman and Mohammad Bilal. Five pistols, five magazines and 26 bullets were retrieved from them.
