Jumping ship: Mumtaz Bhutto and SNF decide to join PML-N

Mumtaz has been known for speaking against President Asif Ali Zardari since 2008.

KARACHI:

On Sunday, the Sindh National Front (SNF) announced that it was going to become a part of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

During meetings between SNF Chairman Mumtaz Bhutto and PML-N leaders Ghous Ali Shah, Amir Bux Bhutto and Marvi Memon, Amir Bux claimed that after a two-hour discussion both parties had decided to become one. While talking to the media, Mumtaz said that PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif would be invited to Ratodero to an SNF worker convention, where the official announcement would be made.

Mumtaz has been known for speaking against President Asif Ali Zardari since 2008. However, his joining the PML-N will be considered a major setback for the government.
