Broadband service providers Qubee and Wi-Tribe lead the pack in terms of followers and activity on social media channels, a new report on ProPakistani has shown.

On Facebook, Qubee has a clear advantage with over 180,000 followers on its Facebook page. Mobilink Infinity registered at a distant second with over 80,000 followers while Wateen and Wi-Tribe both had over 60,000 followers each. PTCL broadband and COMSATS posted negligible fan followings, indicating that WiMAX service providers are more focused on their social presence as compared to DSL service providers.

On Twitter, Wi-Tribe has the lead with a modest following of 2500, followed by Wateen with just over 500 followers, while Qubee and Mobilink Infinity registering as small players.

On YouTube, Wi-Tribe, Qubee and Wateen maintain portals with less than 200 subscribers each.

Local broadband service providers that are largely inactive on online channels include World Call, LINKdotNET, COMSATS, MicroNet and others.

wow what an authentic proof of subscribers. Why not just elect our next government by just checking the fans on the fan pages of politicians?
