Target killings: Five people injured in firing
A man identified as 26-year-old Rashid Baig was shot at and injured near his house in North Karachi.

A man identified as 26-year-old Rashid Baig was shot at and injured near his house in North Karachi on Wednesday, said the Ajmair Nagri police. He was taken to Civil Hospital, Karachi. They claim that his brother was a Pakistan Peoples Party worker. DSP Tahir Khan said that two men on a motorcycle shot at him twice with a 9mm pistol. In Rizvia, four people including two women, were injured when unidentified suspects opened fire at them in Baloch Para. They were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. A young man identified as Zahid Gul, 27, was injured in a clash between two groups near Micasa Apartments in PIB Colony.
