Reshuffling: 11 judges repatriated, eight transferred

Judges of Islamabad West have been repatriated to Lahore High Court.

In an unprecedented reshuffle, 11 judges of Islamabad district court were repatriated while another eight were transferred on Wednesday.


Islamabad High Court chief justice issued a notification in this regard, which also posted four judicial officers as sessions and civil judges.

According to the notification, 11 judges, comprising two additional district and sessions judge and nine civil judge-cum-judicial magistrates of Islamabad West have been repatriated to Lahore High Court.


They include Muhammad Yar Gondal, Wajahat Hassan, Naveed Akhtar, Razaullah Khan, Rai Liaquat Ali Kharal, Kashif Qayyum, Samia Assad, Nadeem Anjum Mian, Mazhar Abbas, Usman Ali Awan and Malik Naeem Shaukat.

Moreover, eight civil judge-cum-judicial magistrates serving in Islamabad East have been transferred to Islamabad West.

They include Muhammad Aamir Aziz, Nasrumminallah, Rasool Bakhsh, Ihtasham Alam Khan, Humayun Dilawar, Qudratullah, Muhammad Abbas and Muhammad Inamullah.

Additional MIT-1 Muhammad Azam Khan and Additional Registrar Pervaizul Qadir have been posted as additional district and sessions judge Islamabad West, while Deputy Registrar (OS) IHC Muhammad Suhail and Muhammad Shabbir have been appointed as civil judge-cum-judicial magistrates Islamabad East.
