Welfare: PAL to work for betterment of writers
Establishment of literary TV channel in the pipelines.
Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) Chairperson Abdul Hameed has pledged to continue working on different projects, said a press release issued by the Academy here on Tuesday.
He said this during a meeting with a group of writers and noted that validity of stipend holders will be scrutinised regularly.
On the issues of issuance of concession card for writers in travelling and establishment of literary TV channel, he said that he is in the process of holding talks with the authorities concerned to get it approved.
