Fire: Comsats University cafeteria gutted
The cause of the fire was a gas leak, the SHO added.

The cafeteria of Comsats University Abbottabad was gutted in a fire on Monday morning. There was no loss of life but damages due to the fire amount to over Rs2.5 million, Mirpur police station Senior House Officer Qamar Hayat Khan told The Express Tribune. The cause of the fire was a gas leak, the SHO added. A university official, requesting anonymity, said that the fire brigade reached two hours late, adding that by the time the cafeteria had been completely destroyed. The cafeteria was housed in a colonial structure made with corrugated iron sheets and wood during the British era, the official added.
