Shoot out: Three die, two caught in police encounters
They were rushed to Civil hospital where Ayub and Shahabuddin died.

Three men died while two were arrested in two different encounters with the police.
The first incident took place in Machar Colony. The police claimed that they were patrolling the area when they stopped the three men who were riding a motorcycle. The men opened fire at the police and they retaliated. SHO Madad Ali Zardari said that the gun fight continued for at least 20 minutes in which all three were injured.
The men were identified as 29-year-old Ayub Mohammad and 32-year-old Shahabuddin, while Shahid Pir Mohammad was injured and then arrested by the police in Machar Colony.
They were rushed to Civil hospital where Ayub and Shahabuddin died. Three TT pistols were also seized.
SHO Zardari said that the men were wanted in four murder cases, including that of an area leader of Anjuman-e-Naujawanan-e-Islam, which took place in Machar Colony in 2010. Moreover, over a dozen mugging cases were also registered against them in police stations across the city.
Separately, one more alleged street criminal was killed and another was arrested during an encounter with the Anti Extremist Cell (AEC) in Al-Fateh Colony in SITE.
According to the AEC officials, the men opened fire at them when they raided their hide out. The AEC men retaliated, resulting in the death of 36-year-old Saifullah, while another man, Hanif, was arrested. A Kalashnikov and two pistols were also seized.
