Hockey: Pakistan juniors seal 2nd win
Win against Malaysia with a 4-3 win yesterday.
KARACHI:
Muhammad Dilbar scored a brace as the Pakistan junior hockey team sealed its second consecutive win against Malaysia with a 4-3 win yesterday. The Greenshirts won the opening match 5-3 but the second match proved much more competitive. However, Dilbar’s effort and goals from Muhammad Umair and Muhammad Sulaiman were enough to secure the victory. Pakistan will take on South Korea in a two-match series next as part of their preparation for next month’s Junior Asia Cup which also serves as the qualification event for the Junior World Cup.
