Replace blackboards in classrooms with smart boards.

KARACHI:
The Sindh education department will launch a pilot project, “Benazir Active Classroom,” which will replace blackboards in classrooms with smart boards. Provincial education minister Pir Mazharul Haq said on Thursday that the project would involve schools using multimedia resources for teaching English, mathematics and science subjects to students. Haq added that a touch screen system would be used, and that tenders for the project have already been invited. The project will initially involve school and college for boys and girls each, which will be selected from every district of the province.
