Gossip: Tinseltown talk
From vicious Bollywood wives, Spice Girls trouble to sneaky Madonna and suggestive lap dances.
Priyanka’s team responds to Bollywood wives
Priyanka Chopra’s friend wrote some not-so-nice things against Bollywood wives Gauri Khan and Sussanne Roshan as well as producer-director Karan Johar in a tabloid recently. According to Times of India, the article said: “If these women are insecure about relationships with their husbands, they should sort it out with them at home. Why target Priyanka?” The article was a response to a range of stories that have tagged Chopra as a “husband chor” and gossip has it that most of these accusations were a result of the powerful ties that the Bollywood wives have with the media.
Mel B and Mel C fighting — Spice Girls reunion delayed?
Daily Mail had reported that the Spice Girls reunion musical “Viva Forever” has been delayed again. One would assume that after two decades the fivesome may have made their peace but apparently they still haven’t. Mel B and Mel C are at it these days and can’t seem to agree on the details, which is driving Jennifer Saunders, the creator of the musical, crazy. The show has been in the works since 2010 but has previously suffered delays due to the busy schedules of Geri and Posh.
Madonna uses sneaky means to top US charts
Plastic surgery queen Madonna knows a thing or two about fooling people. But now she’s shifted her crafty focus to something else, which is making her album climb up the charts. As of now, MDNA now holds the title for the highest selling debut of 2012 so far. This wouldn’t be surprising had the album been any good but most critics call it quite average and formulaic. So how did she manage to top the charts? By forcing a CD of MDNA on every person who bought a ticket to her world tour. This sort of explains why the tickets were quite overpriced.
Sir Elton John gets a lap dance on stage by Channing Tatum
First off, did you know that eye candy Channing Tatum was a stripper before becoming an actor? And recently, he used his experience as an exotic dancer on Sir Elton John when he turned on the heat with him on a concert stage in New York City. The suggestive performance and the sizzling chemistry between the two artists left the audience giggling helplessly.
