Geared Up: Mirpur braces for Sharif’s visit
The PML-N emerged as the runners-up in the last general elections in AJK.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif is expected to address the first-ever formal public meeting in Mirpur on Thursday (today). The PML-N emerged as the runners-up in the last general elections in AJK, bagging 49 seats in the Legislative Assembly, the lower house of the parliament of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK). Sharif will address the public meeting in Mirpur, after administering oath to the central office-bearers, who have been elected to the general council of the party.
