Tennis: Murray eyes Olympic gold
Admitted he will modify his schedule this year to ensure he is at peak form for the Olympics.
World number four Andy Murray from Scotland has admitted he will modify his schedule this year to ensure he is at peak form for the Olympics, according to ESPN.
His focus for the year is to achieve his first grand slam success and display his outstanding talent in front of his own British fans. “It’s a fantastic year for tennis in the capital,” Murray told the Metro. “I want to win my first grand slam but I would also love an Olympic gold.” With London 2012 slotted in between Wimbledon and the US Open, Murray has had to make changes to his programme.
