Snooker: Hunain, Ali win group matches

Pakistan’s duo of Hunain and Muhammad Majid Ali won their respective group matches of the 13th Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship 2012 in Goa.
Hunain was involved in an intense affair against India’s Lalit Dahiya but came out on top 4-3. Hunain was 2-1 down at one stage but made a strong comeback to go 3-2 up before Dahiya got back on even terms.
Both were then involved in a high-scoring last frame but Hunain eventually won with scores of 68-33, 8-83, 26-59, 68-59, 71-9, 44-55 and 86-61.
Meanwhile, Majid Ali defeated Hong Kong’s Chang Yu Kiu in straight frames to continue his unbeaten run.
