14 additional management staff, owners of RPPs placed on ECL

Nab issues second list of CEOs as well as owners of Rental Power Plants who have been placed on the Exit Control List.

ISLAMABAD:
After the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) issued a second list of Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of Rental Power Plants (RPP) and owners of power companies in as many days, their have been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) by the Ministry of Interior.

The 14 people placed on the ECL on Tuesday include: CEO Techno-E-Power Muhammad Anwar Khan, CEO M/s Young Gen Muhammad Rafiq Butt, CEO M/s Karkey Muhammad Jamil Arain, CEO M/s Gulf Rental Ghulam Mustafa Tunio, CEO M/s Walter Power Tariq Nazir, CEO M/s Alstome Power Rental Ghulzar Muhammad, CE M/s Techno-E-Power Abid Ali, CE M/s Young Gen Habib Ullah Khan, Principal Officer M/s Pakistan Power Iqbal Z Ahmad, Chairman M/s Karkey Orhan Remzi Karadeniz, CEO M/s Gulf Rental Haseeb Ahmad Khan, CEO M/s Reshma Power Shah Faisal, Principal Officer M/s Walters Power Muhammad Nasarullah Baig, Country Manager M/s General Electric Power Naeem Shafique


Notices under NAO (National Accountability Ordinance) have been issued to four companies which have to refund the down payment along with the mark-up.

These include Techno–E Power, Walters Power Naudero-I, Karkey Rental Power and Gulf Power Project. These Companies have been directed to deposit the money within three days.

Earlier, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) requested the interior ministry to place the names of 19 accused, including three former federal ministers, after the Supreme Court passed an order in the Rental Power Plant case.
