PESHAWAR:
Brazil has offered help to Pakistan to produce ethanol as an alternate fuel in order to reduce the country’s dependence on petroleum products.
Speaking to journalists in Peshawar, Brazilian Ambassador Alfredo Leoni underlined that his country produces huge amount of ethanol, which helps decrease dependence on petroleum products. Pakistan could also become self-reliant, if it developed its bio-fuel industry, he added.

On the issue of terrorism and militancy, Ambassador Leoni said that the Brazilian government acknowledges Pakistan’s role and its sacrifices in the global fight against this menace.
