A gas pipeline was blown up in Dera Bugti on Sunday, suspending the gas supply to the Pirkoh gas field. According to sources, unidentified miscreants attached an explosive device to the pipeline. “The process of repairing the pipeline has begun,” an official from Dera Bugti later confirmed. A heavy contingent of security forces cordoned off the area. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
