Sindh University has decided to issue identification cards to its students to strengthen the security measures taken for improving the law and order situation on its campuses.
The decision was taken in a meeting of the university’s deans committee on Saturday, which was attended by pro vice chancellors of the university’s different campuses, registrar, directors of admission and finance, and the controller of examinations.
In January protests broke out after a professor was murdered on campus.
