Exhibit: When art meets diversity

Gallery 6 exhibits works of 66 artists.

ISLAMABAD:
The new art exhibit at Gallery 6 is all about inclusion and diversity.

The exhibit, titled “66 Statements”, features works of a staggering 66 artists, some seasoned and other budding, with a total of 100 art pieces, which include miniatures, prints, paintings, photography, drawings and sculptures. As vast as the range of artists, the themes of the art pieces include landscapes, abstracts, still-life, architecture, heritage and figurative art.

With no more than two works of each artist, the display harmonises the themes and provides “an eye-catching experience for the viewers,” said an official of the gallery.


The show will continue till April 15.

The artists include A Q Arif, Aasim Akhtar, Abdul Jabbar Gull, Abid Hassan, Abrar Ahmed, Adnan Samuel Javed, Ahmed Khan, Akram Spaul, Aleem Dad Khan, Ali Abbas, Amjad Hussain, Amna Hashmi, Aneesa Khan, Aqeel Solangi, Arif Khan, Arjumand Hussain, Athar Jamal, Aziz Hasan, Faisal Asghar, Faten Anjum, Gabrielle Pool, Ghulam Rasool, Hajra Mansoor, Hanif Shehzad, HenriSouffay, Iqbal Hussain, Irfan Gul Dahri, Jamil Baloch, Javaid Khan, Mansur Aye, Mansur Rahi and Masood A Khan.
